About Marshalls Bakery

Marshalls Bakery was founded around 1870 by Charles Marshall when he moved to Pewsey from Newbury. Charles is believed to have started out making bread for himself but it soon became popular with friends and he decided to open a Bakery. Later on the Bakery also became a local store selling all kinds of household product’s . We also have a picture of a sign stating Marquees for hire.

Today the Business has reverted to purely a Bakery and is run by fourth generation Baker Richard Marshall

Producing a wide range of Bread, Cakes and Confectionery from Local favourites like Lardy cake to an increasing range of Healthy products such as Honey and Spelt Bread.
